    PLEASE NOTE: When shipping FLB-100 batteries via air, a maximum of two 
    batteries per box is permitted without additional IATA Dangerous Goods 
    shipping procedures.
    Effective January 1, 2009 
    
    Subject: New 2009 IATA, ICAO and DOT regulations.
    
    This notice effects all Frezzi Energy Systems 
    customers who purchased product models
    FLB-200,
    FLB-200V, FLB-240, or FLB-240V.
    
    For International airline travel, new rules in effect 
    January 1, 2009, you can no longer carry as spare batteries in carry on baggage 
    or in equipment in either checked or carry on baggage product models
    FLB-200,
    FLB-200V, FLB-240, or FLB-240V.
    
    These new restrictions
    (IATA regulation 2.3.3.2) in regards to passengers 
    boarding airlines do not restrict users of 
    Frezzi product models FLB-100, FLB-100V, FLB-130, FLB-130V 
    from continuing to transport as passengers aboard airlines abiding by the 
    IATA regulation 2.33 and 2.3.3.2. OPERATOR APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR 
    BATTERIES EXCEEDING 100WH.
 AIRLINES PERFORMING US DOMESTIC TRAVEL MAY INSTEAD FOLLOW IATA 
REGULATIONS, PLEASE CALL AIRLINES PRIOR TO TRAVEL WITH BATTERIES THAT EXCEED 
100WH.  
Frezzi product 
models 
FLB-200, FLB-200V, 
FLB-240, or FLB-240V can continue to be shipped as Dangerous Goods 
    VIA CARRIAGE BY PUBLIC HIGHWAY (SHIPMENT MUST 
COMPLY WITH TITLE 49 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS), or
VIA CARRIAGE BY AIRCRAFT (SHIPMENT MUST COMPLY 
WITH IATA REGULATIONS AND ICAO REGULATIONS).
